[ the loft bridal ] trunk show 02.15.08

Check this out. I made some wonderful new friends last Friday! Trish and Sara, owners of the Loft Bridal in downtown Lakeville hosted the Garnette Avenue & Meg Jewelry Trunk Show. Designers Alberto Monteverdi & Leonardo Morbini Poli of Garnette Avenue Atelier Sposa, came all the way from Brescia, Italy to show their latest collection. Meg Lammers from Meg Jewelry was showing off her amazing accessories. Talk about some serious talent! I stopped in for a couple hours and captured some of the event. My beautiful May 2nd bride Michelle was in checking things out. Leonardo, who happens to be a world renowned fashion/make-up stylist for runway shows did Michelle's hair and makeup. She tried on a few of the dresses from the new Garnette Avenue collection and some of the jewelry from Meg's current collection. I talked her into doing a quick bridal session. The Knot featured wedding

I was contacted a couple months ago by one of the editors of The Knot magazine. They were looking for some unique weddings for their Spring/Summer 2008 edition. They chose Jane and Chris's July 14, 2007 wedding. I had so much fun with Jane and Chris and I'm just thrilled to see them published in the current magazine! [ Rebecca + John ] married 01.26.08

The first wedding of 2008! Rebecca and John were married at the Grand Hotel in downtown Minneapolis. Rebecca was a bridesmaid in a wedding I photographed on 05.27.07 (Remy and Stephen). I was so excited when she and John asked me to photograph their wedding day. The ceremony was beautiful. After dinner the DJ's from Instant Request kicked things up a notch. We only covered about 45 minutes of the dance, but I have a feeling the dance floor was never empty. Fun group of family and friends!
