[ 5 Years of Digital Wedding Photography ] my journey

I had the opportunity to speak to a group of local photographers last night. My friends Stacey and Jason Thon lead the Minnesota Pictage Users Group. Stacey asked me if I'd be interested in sharing my story with their group. I've had so many talented photographers share what they know with me over the years. It was great pay it forward.   

I really wanted to create a slideshow that represented my journey. About a week ago I started looking through every wedding I've shot since I made the switch to digital. That takes me back to 2005. I haven't counted, but I'm guessing I've covered about 175 weddings since then. What an adventure! I've worked with so many amazing couples. I've made so many friends, and I've been a part of some amazing moments. 

If I had to do this over I'd probably have a completely different set of images. It's really hard to narrow 4 years worth or work down to 130 images for a slideshow.

[ Adam + Amanda ] married 04.18.09

Back in the the swing of things after a couple months off from weddings. Adam and Amanda had perfect weather for their wedding day despite a forecast that called for rain. Their ceremony was held at Bethlehem Covenant Church in Minneapolis with a reception at the Minnesota Children's Museum in downtown St. Paul.
